FINISH TIME: 1500 HRS

TOTAL DISTANCE: 164.89 MILES

Set off at 0640 hrs, the weather was great and I was looking forward to the day. over a mountain I went and joined the great glen way. It was not long before I was given a choice of taking the high route or the low route. For me it was the high route, and by god was it high, but it was well worth the climb, the views over Loch ness were stunning. I have done two clips today, which show off the beauty of this part of the countryside. The weather was so hot that I actually got sunburnt. The route to say was harsh is an understatment, but my mood was tip top and i was feeling my normal middling to brilliant self. It was great to get off the road walking and onto stunning scenary. I had my call from Lauerence, which at the moment is amusing, as she always seems to call when I am going up a mountain, I must sound like one of those heavy breathing phonecalls. Well I find it amusing, not sure if laurence does. Anyway thanks laurence, for the calls.Got a call from my mate Terry today and he was in tip top form, took his sound advice and got some mineral supplements and took them when I got in, cracking hearing from you mate. another close friend phil rang as he does, but you have to get him off the phone, particlarly when he is telling one of his stories, I was crying with laughter and nearly fell into a ditch.

Fort Augustas, has the most sensational Locks I have ever seen and I will video them on route out in the morning.

Today was a fantastic day and I hope you all enjoy the views.
