GOLSPIE TO TAIN

DISTANCE: 18.10 MILES

START TIME: 0500 HRS

FINISH TIME: 1130 HRS

TOTAL DISTANCE: 95.48 MILES

Today was about just getting from A to B, why you may ask, well I saw the weather forecast last night and all I saw was rain from 1000 hrs, decision made then.

0500 hrs I was on the tarmac pounding the A9, through a valley, trying to get as much distance in before the rain hit. Rain and tape are not a good mix, the feet get wet the tape moves, the feet become sodden and all my nursing of the feet becomes null and void. It was literally pound the miles in and keep pounding, no stopping, I was against time. At 1130 i was in Tain no rain and non has transpired since. I'm just glad that the Scottish weather forecaster's are as inept as our own in england. Which remind's me in Reading about a half mile from where i live is the European weather forcast centre, they are famed for saying " tomorrow in the south east it will be a glorious 22 degrees". yes you can guess hurricanes, tornadoes, thunder and lightning ensue.

Tomorrow i am nearly at the end of the  stretch on the A9, then hopefully I will have some decent info to pass on. I must apologise to Capt birdseye for not congratulating him on completing his end to end 2 days ago. So if you are reading this Barry well done, great respect and I hope you continue to complete your future goals.

Well today there was nothing of note to video, but I have to give my thanks to laurence a lady from the Charity that also has M.S, for her call,s yesterday and today. She has been following my route as she used to walk Scotland 20 years ago, and is a great supporter, she has advertised my progress on twitter and other social media, so thank you laurence.

Well I have caught up on 3 days of blogs and you tubing so for me it time for a  Stock check of the eyelids,
