Today my back was playing up, especially in the lower back. Phil decided then that he would be a better support if he caught the bus with my kit to the next location. I therefore had a day with just the map and my water. It was like floating on air and whilst the back had a rest from carrying 50 Lb my pace was indeed far quicker. Today I met bas at glouster railway station and then we tabbed the final 3 miles to meet phil at the hotel. It was a sat and the footie was on. Phil had already sussed out the sports bar and we were in to watch utd hammer Liverpool, great result DC. Tomorrow we were walking into thornbury to meet the M.S Research Charity for some photos and a drink and to hand over a chq for a £1000.00 pound. Yea ha are we there yet.
