Todays route was one staright road into Lockerbie, it was boring and mind numbingly pants. I can say no more.
Once in Lockerbie we called into a pub had a pint served by the lady honour, spoke to the locals and then proceeded to our hotel. The Crown in Lockerbie, where we were told no booking had been made. We produved the confirmation and still they said we had not booked, DEEP JOY AGAIN. We spent 40 mins finding accomodation and the Town Head Pub where we had our pint came to the rescue. They are closing tomorrow for 6 weeks refurbishment yet they made up a room and saved our bacon. Not only did they help us out, they and honour and the rest of the staff made us welcome and nothing was to much trouble. The pub and the accomodation are top notch, thank you all for your help.
