Again today was a Day of drudgery, we are in a period of just tabbing the miles out with no views and miles and miles of roads. However we are becoming adept at dodging Pikey vehicles, as it seems the pikey boots has put the word out of our route to its friends.
Our Thanks go to the Brittannia inn in Preston last night for the entertainment and hostpitality shown us. Thanks go to Kurtis, Peter Mac Murrey, Joe and there ladies. A great night.
Continuing on from yesterday Mr Columbia appears to be keeping up to his side of our agreement, but them old Pikey boots have had their last laugh on my feet as I have a blister forming on the heal of my left foot. I hate those Pikey boots good riddens to you. I hope you rot in boot camp.
My thanks goes to Geordie for walking with me for the last 5 days, he kept my moral up and was great company as he always is. For someone to take time out and travel to you and then Tab all those miles without complaint cannot be thanked enough. But then I am very lucky to have such great friends. My thanks goes to Bas for thinking of, buying and sending up to Preston Black armbands for us to walk with in remembrence of a great man and our close friend Terry.
Phil can't wait to see you in 3 days time, another close friend of mine who is walking with me for 4 days, like I said before I have great friends.
