What a day lol

I dont know why I went Lol, it was a painful day to say the least. 3 miles in and i could feel the blister's forming. 5 miles in and they had burst, but kept refilling. Today i stopped 4 times to burst blister's and dress them. Did i ever say I HATE ROAD WALKING lol lol.

Was there anything about today that was interesting, hmmm let me think, i was so bored that i started counting dead frogs on the road of 12 miles that took me to the A9, I totalled 33 frogs that had been run over, splattered or maimed. There was one copying arnie in the first terminator film it was dragging itself down the road, it looked like it was after me, needless to say I am an humanitarian   ( think that's spelt right ) and ran from it. I know i can hear you.

The route today was simple no map was needed, walk one long road and turn right onto the A9 and walk that road.  It was hairy to say the least, no not the road idiot's, it was hairy avoiding the traffic. Within a mile of turning onto the A9 there was a sign, saying no footpath for 550 yards, what!!!!!!! had I missed the footpath, Liar's they are, there are no footpath,s. It was a drudge day, the only highlight was meeting Barry. Barry was the gentleman who you see in the clip the drive up, well i knew he was staying in Dunbeath and hoped that i could catch him before he passed by the road where i joined the A9.

Well i did a yube tube clip called barry alias capt birdseye, no offence Barry, we chatted for about 25 mins, a smashing fella, and me .He is walking to Wick today and then his last day is tomorrow. I told him to go to the Pub we stayed in Sat night as they will look after him. Barry is in his 70;s and carrying his kit. Massive respect Barry, well done to you.

other than meeting Barry it was a  boring long drudge of a day, there is nothing else to report chaps and chapesses.

Tomorrow is the walk to helmsdale, bet you can,t guess what road its on, yep indeed.
