HIMLEY TO SHRAWLEY

We set off at 0600 hrs and we knew mr Hurrel and I that it would be a great day. We had the weather, bright sunshine and the best canal walk I have ever had. Now to bore you with some things that we saw that day. A heron flew past us down the canal at head height what a sight. We also saw two Buzzards hunting a field. and a Robin that eat our lunch. The Canal walk was great until we hit the severn way. What a gruelling last 5 miles, made even more demoralising when we saw our hotel the other side of the Severn, with no access to it other than to walk 4.5 miles to a bridge and then come back on ourselves, OH deep joy, my 7 P's were not good on this occasion. Speaking to the Locals they told us that to follow the severn way was folly, so we ammended our route for the following days to do Road walking
